What is Mesothelioma?

mesothelioma - A rare type of cancer, caused due to exposure of asbestos, develops from the protective lining covering body internal organs. The common site called pleura (outer lining of the lungs and the internal chest wall) gets affected mostly and it may also occur in the heart, the pericardium, tunica vaginalis and the peritoneum.

How does mesothelioma affects and to whom?

The main effects of this occurs to people who have worked at places where they inhaled or have been exposed to asbestos dust and glass fiber particles.
