In the previous blog, we discussed about, Does smoking increases the risk of mesothelioma? I am extremely sorry that i discussed very less about how does smoking increases the chances of getting affected by mesothelioma.
I finally decided to write what exactly is mesothelioma and how does it affects our lives. Are there any chances of getting cured, if so how and what are the precautions, symptoms and treatments one needs to take care utmost.
Lets discuss more about mesothelioma:
As everyone is aware that due to busy schedules and more work pressure we rarely give importance to our health. Health is Wealth, but how many of us really think about it seriously. With the growing businesses, many of us have started taking health for granted and to avoid work pressure, we start taking negative routes which leads us to complicated diseases in future.
Many of us might also not be aware of how and when we had been diagnosed with mesothelioma, which is now a days an increasing cancerous disease in the world. Cancer is supposed to be a disease which everyone were afraid of in the past, but now there are treatments available to cure cancer and diagnose it at an early stage before growing up into a large tumor.
So what exactly is mesothelioma??
Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer, which affects the main parts of the body. The cells which makes up the body and helps us stay active through out the day play an important role in this. Mesothelioma may be a cancerous or non-cancerous disease. Mesothelium cells mutliply uncontrollably and the abnormality results in mesothelioma disease, these cells also invade the other parts of the body and causes a lot of damage to the patient's organs.
There are two forms of mesothelioma:
1) Benign Form, which is non-cancerous
2) Malignant Form, which is cancerous.(Most affected form)
Due to continuous exposure to asbestos or few asbestos fibers, leads one to this disease, which mainly affects our lungs and is also called as "asbestos lung cancer". Its hardly possible to detect this disease by seeing a persons health. Sometimes it takes 40 years for a person to know that he/she is suffering from mesothelioma.
Its very hard even for the doctors to detect this deadly disease where in the tumor slowly starts growing in the abdomen and makes it difficult to diagnose.
More information in the next coming blog :) Hope you keep smiling and keep fighting from this deadly diseases. God will help :) :)
